Episode 017 - Gator, Croc, Swamp Cukie

This time around we become a Crocodile and an Alligator and we invite our friend Lance the Swamp Cucumber (like a Sea Cucumber but in the swamp) to join us.
This week we're drinking what we have dubbed Barbie Juice (made with real Barbies) in an attempt to make our most girlie drink yet.
The Reason we drink at home this time is so we dont get crushed to death in a garbage compactor.
Our Jerk of the week makes some less than desirable remarks about Obama being aborted.
Whats happening in the world this week?
A German restaurant owner has come up with a creative solution to the ban on smoking in restaurants.
Also some midget wrestlers were killed in a robbery attempt.
Our old pal @louie_E gives us a minute and a half review of the new movie Bruno.
We also found some more gems from the site tweetingtoohard.com from @tiffanyElam and @kochschwinger.
If you'd like to help out our old pal Dave get to his wife in Tennessee check out his Youtube video with the details (also check it out if you like the penmanship of Matthew Good or Russell Peters.
Also this week the Crocodile has compiled a list of great summer albums including (but not limited to):
Our stories this week are about a ridiculous visa charge, a teenager who falls down an open manhole while texting and walking, and a robber who calls the cops on himself.
TGBA thinks you might like Kurt Vile (and check out our previously featured band The Fresh & Onlys).
The Crocodile fulfils his promise of reviewing the movie White Noise (I'm not linking to it again, it's not good enough) and the Alligator gives a bonus review of The Number 23 with Jim Carrey. Crocodile also gives his first book review! A book called 19 Questions by Brandy Fedoruk. You can learn more about the book and the Regional Assembly of Text here!
We also have a few cool web sites for you, an online magnet poetry site, and Lance's own Scrounging for Deals site.

We have an image of the week for you which defines self indulgence:
Become more popular at work by sending in emails to twoguysbeinganimals@gmail.com.
Beat your depression by following us on twitter @tgba.
Become more motivated by calling our voicemail +13603397922.
Thanks for listening!

I'm shocked you guys didn't include "Summer in the City" by Lovin' Spoonful. Great summer song.

Also, your criminal would have been better off calling Crimestoppers or a similar program offering money for tips.

Did you guys notice that episode 17 is exactly 1:11:11 in length? Are you trying to tell us something?

Dear Anonymous,

A fine song, indeed. Maybe next year! And you're right about the Crimestoppers suggestion. If only we could have told him this in time.

Also, Dear Spooked,

My oh my!

Sincerely,

ian the crocodile

I'm glad you folks enjoyed Lance's guest spot. We did too. Anyone have suggestions for (realistic) future guests you'd like to hear?

Those drinks sounded positively delightful!
I must say, a drink called the Barbeque would be a giant step in the manly direction. Maybe try something with whisky and HP sauce in it. yummy, right?
you could also try this one in the name of the beard:

How about a futuristic future guest? Sevli Android would be an interesting candidate.
