You probably don't have any recollection of this, however at one point during your introduction you down-played your emotions by stating that your memory lasts only 5 seconds. BUT, would it not then be true that if you were happy, you'd think that you'd been happy your entire life while, if you were sad, you'd think you'd been sad your entire life?
But then again, if you could not remember having experienced the other end of the emotional spectrum, would you have anything to compare your current emotional state to? In such a case, downplaying the emotions would be completely validated.

thank you for everything. i think you nailed it on the tweet and you're right - i am happy as a goldfish. i just can't remember why.

the second song was called "aside". it's by a canadian band called the weakerthans. they are generally sad and lovely, and sometimes play poppy songs like that one.
