Episode 014 - Cobra Snake/Porcupine!

This week we're a good 'ol fashioned cobra snake/porcupine duo, just like in the movies! We called up the Beverly Hilton and asked for their bar's signature beverage. Turned out it was something pretty lame called the Beverly Hills Startini. We made it anyways! This week, we talk about the first Twitter-related death, a 1000 year story, and a very magical washing machine. Also, the cobra reviews the element Hydrogen, and the porcupine reviews a Chinatown store which he does not remember the address to.
We tried to relax this episode. We talked about some friends in faraway places... Derek, Leanne, Matt and Kim. Also, Lance! We did some conference calling as well. Just listen and pretend you're there! Don't forget, you've got one week left to enter our DRAW US A PICTURE contest! Draw something on your computer, or on paper, or on a wall, or anywhere and send us a picture of it! The winner will receive a fabulous prize package. As you may have heard on a previous episode, our prizes are better than CBC's Definitely Not the Opera's prizes! Finally, take a quick moment to vote in our first ever poll! Vote for what is, in your opinion, the jerkiest jerk of the week, and let's see what happens folks! You can find the poll near the top right of our website! Woww!
Thanks for listening! Email us! Tweet us! Call us up @ 360 339 7922 !

This week we are a bat and a rat! We also feature a special guest, Peter the clam! He brings us reviews of sneezing, an opera, and angry children, while the bat and the rat discuss goat castles, the uncanny valley, bears, and a boy that was struck by a meteorite! We also talk about garlic and its' many health benefits, and, of course, @Louie_E. Our jerk of the week this week is those people who put helmets on their heads, but do not buckle the straps, therefore rendering them into very useless hats.
This week we experienced our largest technical malfunction to date and lost a chunk or two of the show to nefarious computer errors! Sorry! Don't forget to email us with your questions, comments, short stories and puns! Also, enter our new contest! Draw a picture any way you see fit and send it to us! If we pick your picture, you will win a fantastic prize pack!

Two Guys Being Animals is better than Definitely Not the Opera when it comes to prizes!

For episode 12
, we have become a ferret and a badger. We also have a special guest in the form of Curtis the rabbit from Weekend Leisure - not to be confused with a previous guest, Kurtis the giraffe from Budgie's. Our jerk of the week this week was a Fox News member of the press who drove 200 feet with a cyclist on the hood of his car. Jerk! Our stories include corrupt homework on demand, cakes, and a listener submitted story about a student whose religion requires him to wear pirate garb to school, but isn't allowed to do so. We also talk about the Kelowna Jedi Guy and the coolest thing that Curtis has ever done. In Twitterville, we mentioned @Louie_E, @IntegralLife, @whoissheila, @GlugBeer and good ol' @IgorKowalski. You can go check out Chris' beer-making blog here. Don't forget that you can email us, and now call our voicemail number at 360-339-7922. Please, please call it! Follow us on Twitter here and follow Weekend Leisure here! If everything goes well, we should have Mr. Peter on for next week! Cross your fingers, folks, and thank you for listening!

P.S. Here is a picture of Phil Spector without his wig! Taken in June 2009 as he headed to jaily-waily. Yowza!

Episode 011 - Kakapo and Kiwi bird

This week we're both endangered, flightless birds indigenous to New Zealand! A Kakapo and a Kiwi bird! What fun! You can learn more about what you can do to help this week's birdies by visiting the Kakapo Recovery Programme and Save the Kiwi.
This week, we talk about a big, drunk, smoking baby. We talk about a search by colour and call up the Kakapo parents as well! Also, we discuss a terrorist who talked for cookies and the new Tonight Show. Watch this video of a man being tasered and then running away from cops! We received six letters this week! Holy smokes!
Our JERK OF THE WEEK this week is Jonathan "Johnny Sue-nami" Lee Riches. Maybe he will sue us for calling him a jerk!
Don't forget to email us your comments and questions, follow us on Twitter, or comment right here on the site! Also, if you use iTunes you can click here to subscribe and have TGBA delivered automatically to your 'puter every week! Neat!
